Fobots (Found Object Robots) are the creations of Raleigh, NC artist Amy Flynn. Combing flea markets, auctions, antique malls and the internet for cool, vintage junk, Amy then solders and bolts her finds together to create one-of-a-kind robots. They are not functional, they are not toys, and they will not go on a rampage while you sleep.

Like the Tin Man, each Fobot has a heart inside. If the bot opens up, you can see it dangling from a little chain inside.  If it doesn't open, you'll still be able to hear it rattling around inside.

Every item you see on the site is available for sale, and is the actual one you will receive. Just click the "Add to Cart" button, and you will be taken to a secure portal where you can use a credit card to safely pay online. I can usually ship within a day, unless the bot you picked is currently packed up in the van--in which case, I will contact you and we can work something out.

If you don't see what you want, let me know. There are examples of previously created but sold bots on the ifobot.com website. All Fobots are one-of-a-kind, but I might be able to make you something similar. Custom orders are also welcome.
